What a great evening of splashing around at the hot springs and note a cool evening is most definitely needed for this, some are really HOT! I’m not sure if this section is open during the daytime but you would have a to be just a little insane to take a dunk during the day. The place has a few pools at different temperatures along with hot tubs, waterfalls, erupting volcanoes, caves and allsorts of other things making for a good adventure and fun to explore. *Although watch out for the path of upturned pebbles, we had a race around it and it was not massaging at all more just excruciatingly painful!
I went along with my brother and met up with some of his friends, don’t worry they aren’t quite a crazy as they look, most of the time :p
Good fun with some great company, cheers!
Price: 20RM or £4
Location: Ipoh, Malaysia
Company: Sunway – Lost world of tambun
Comments: The hot springs are only a small section of this water park and assessment part plus a hotel and more.

Well this was a fun game, I have pretty much no ability to read Japanese and in here on my own sooo… Let’s play lucky dip! It actually went pretty well, first off with my basic Japanese I could handle getting a beer, chips and some fried chicken. (biru, potaeto, tori.. really not that hard aye!) But the fun begun with pretty much calling the waitress over and pointing at random things on the menu, smiling and nodding, then waiting eagerly to find out if what I’ve ordered is even edible!… First guess nope no edible, but however was quite drinkable : a whiskey hill ball 🙂 OK so now I’ve established that page one is probably all drinks and over to page 2 where I upped my game and ordered a tomato salad, weirdly the most expensive thing I bought! Next up I saw 200yen with some downward writing n thought/hoped it was Sushi, took a risk there as it was the cheapest thing on the page, could have been drinks again but I won that round wooohoo!
So I came for the cheap beer (180yen = about £1!), but I stayed for the cute barmaid ahaha!
Everybody this is Yuee-chan 🙂
I’m impressed with their cheep beer though, check out the machine that pours the perfect pint. It tips the glass so it runs so smooth without throff that they actually require a second nozzle to finish that puts the head on ha.
Well done Japan..

Went out to Tokyo Midtown for some ice skating and to begin with it was pretty scary, a whole lot of uncontrollable sliding and whole lot of kids I didn’t want to crash and squash. But in the end, after a few slips and falls we got the flow of things and could dogde around the masses of people who also knew Sunday evening would be the time to hit the ice.
I thought I was getting pretty good until a little 10 year old girl jumps right next to me, scares the crap out of me as she does a a spin and lands backwards and skate of elegantly as I fail, yelp and shuffle on out of the way aha
And of course what the first inevitable thing that happens when I first press record on my go pro… 10 meters later blam! On the ice! Haha check out the video 🙂
